NORMATIVE
CURRENT RULES ABSTRACT UNI 9569 RULE REAL HOUSEBREKING TEST
An operator subjects a door sample produced by the builder to a real “professional” housebreaking: the door is subjected to: - hinge breaking down test; - lock breaking down test; - shutter perforation test; - lock forcing and braking test.
BREAKING DOWN TEST A sample is subjected to static and dynamic stresses of heavy load in restricted areas. In the laboratories, technicians simulate attacks against the door with hydraulic jacks or similar tools. To the door which passes the test, it is assigned a numbered belonging class from one to four according to the tools used in the test. Among the four classes of the UNI rule, the second one is the best to guarantee an optimal safety for living use.
